Around the Estate

Enjoying the Great Outdoors

There are lots of ways to make the most of the landscape at Farncombe Estate. Trainers use our 370 acres as their most flexible learning space. For instance, by taking your group on a stroll across the fields, you instantly change the mood of any session. Our unique teambuilding activities, known as Eye Openers, are designed to use the woods, the water and the outdoors to the maximum.

For instance, you can take your team on a trail through Bibsworth Copse (we call it the Bluebell Wood!) in the search for Pots of Gold. You can have a wonderful afternoon on Farncombe Estate lake, learning to build and paddle your own Kanw and reach the island in the middle.

Or why not follow our Nature Trails, which have been designed by our Estate team to guide you round some of the prettiest parts of the Estate? You can choose a 40-minute or 80-minute ramble past Foxhill Manor and Farncombe House with views of the Brecon Beacons, the Black Mountains and the Wrekin in Shropshire.

At Cotswold Conference Centre, the landscape becomes a part of everything we do and we like to encourage delegates and visitors to play their part. You may be able to help us monitor the wildlife on the Estate. If you send in your favourite Farncombe Estate photographs, we may be able to add them to our online Nature Diary.

We even have a private Japanese Garden which can be viewed by arrangement. Click here to find out more…

We have 370 acres to play with. We hope you’ll enjoy them too.
