Our Food Philosophy

Keeping it local

We pride ourselves on using local grocers and growers of high quality. Seasonal food and drink is – wherever possible – sourced from a 20-mile radius.

Local suppliers include Worcester Produce in Pershore, Wayside Farm Shop near Broadway, LJ Lawrence & Son, an old-established bakery on Evesham High Street, Cotteswold Dairy in Tewkesbury and Willersey Provisions, only half a mile down the road.

Did you know?

* Goff’s, a local brewery, bottles Ewe Nutter exclusively for our bar and dining room

* Our kitchen uses a nearby farm shop for all jams, marmalades and honey and returns the jars for re-use

* A ‘Pure Water’ filtration system enables us to bottle and carbonate water on the estate. We wash and re-use our own branded bottles, saving the purchase, transport and disposal of nearly 12,000 bottles a year
