The training heritage of Cotswold Conference Centre dates back almost 50 years to 1964, when the security company Group 4 bought Farncombe House with 100 acres of land. Farm buildings were converted to provide Group 4’s training centre and the training facility gradually expanded to cater for companies from home and abroad.

Although Group 4 was eventually sold, training remains central to the Sørensen family business on Farncombe Estate.

Today, more than 50 clients regularly use us as a flexible venue for training their staff and group members. They work closely with our highly-experienced conference team, who understand the world from a trainer’s point of view. They rely on our flexibility, our professionalism and our “can do” approach to getting things done.

Over the years, we have developed relationships with some of the best Personal Development professionals in the country. We are proud to work with people who deliver great content in a stimulating and accessible way and who return to us again and again.

All kinds of learning

Our conference-centre concept allows us to create productive environments for profitable business. The team at Cotswold Conference Centre looks after business people all the time. Organisations like IMI (representing the international motor industry), Morgan Ashurst (the construction and regeneration group) and G4S (global security group) tell us the environment here is conducive to all kinds of learning.

We understand you need a plenary room with all the kit built in, where everything works with lots of natural daylight and there are plenty of syndicates available for group work. You might also want to make use of our outdoor experiential activities either as an ice breaker, energiser or learning tool.
